This review finds that spinal manipulation delivers modest improvement in pain and function with no serious adverse effects. (2)  

 

JAMA also published an editorial by the prominent medical doctor and author, Richard Deyo, MD, about spinal manipulation for back pain incorporating Paige’s study.
